HUGO and Imaginary Ones NFT Collaboration

HUGO, a leading German Fashion brand, has announced a partnership with a Singapore-based Web3 company, Imaginary Ones (IO). This is a major step for HUGO in exploring the metaverse, as the launch of its first-ever NFT collections marks a significant milestone for the brand in 2022.

HUGO is a younger version of the popular HUGO BOSS brand focussed on providing a platform for self-expression and authentic dressing. Over 8,888 completely animated 3D characters make up the NFT Collection Imaginary Ones, which aims to utilize art to promote creativity, happiness, and love. In addition, they collaborated to introduce the “Embrace Your Emotions (EYE)” NFT line with the aim of fostering good mental health.

With this collaboration with Imaginary Ones, 1,001 3D animated NFTs will be launched in early November around the five human emotions joy, fear, love, rage, and sorrow. In addition to this, a legendary character portraying all five emotions was auctioned on October 10th, which was World Mental Health Day. 100% of the proceeds were donated to the charity Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM).

The auction winner, along with their plus one, will take advantage of a unique HUGO experience, with all travel and lodging expenses paid. They will also receive 5 airdrops of the upcoming HUGO x IO EYE NFT.

This partnership shows that HUGO is looking to step into the metaverse while incorporating its culture of self-expression. This may pave the way for the company to step into the fashion x metaverse industry. The EYE NFT collection is the perfect creative and business opportunity for HUGO.

To take part in this tempting drop, you have to make it onto their whitelist. If you buy a HUGO “physical” T-shirt, you may enter to win one of 500 spots. Furthermore, another 500 are reserved for those who stake the Imaginary Ones NFT collection, along with various allowlist spots allocated via a myriad of giveaways and activities conducted on the IO Twitter and Discord platforms.

Around 500 t-shirts (100 each for every emotion) were sold worldwide. It contained a QR code leading visitors to a Snapchat lens in order to provide a unique augmented reality effect

The winners of the drop will also have access to certain utilities.
